Google Classroom

As all NSW schools transition into the world of Online Learning, it's important to remember that the priority of all our Teachers is to deliver the highest quality education we can through the various digital platforms available.

At the forefront of our Online Learning at LIHS is Google Classroom. Through this platform, students join a virtual 'Classroom' where they can view resouces, submit assignments, and communicate with their teacher in real-time.

Students are able to access Google Classroom by going through their Student Portal -

There are academic, social and wellbeing benefits for Students in using video
conferencing software to communicate and collaborate online with their class and
Teachers when they are learning from home or remote location.

'Zoom' is a new video platform that has recently come into aggreement with the Department of Education. Many teachers are going to be using this to deliver online content to their classes and even pre-record lessons for students to view.
