Facilities and resources
Our school offers a range of spaces, tools and resources to support student learning. Whether it’s for study, sport, creativity or technology, our learning environments and resources give students what they need to succeed.
Resources and technology
Our school provides a wide range of technology resources for all students to use. We are equipped with three computer labs, and each faculty has a dedicated set of laptops available to support curricular activities. To ensure students' online safety, we offer a filtered Wi-Fi connection throughout the school, with every classroom outfitted with wireless technology to ensure comprehensive network coverage.
By integrating modern technology and digital learning tools, our resources empower students to learn, create, and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we also benefit from access to shared programs and tools available across the state's education system.

Library
- The Lake Illawarra High School Library is an integral part of our school. - The Library is open to students for use during Lunchtime, offering access to computers, tabletop games and Nintendo switch competitions. Students can access to complete homework or assignments, print, read and borrow books from our large collection or relax and play games with friends.
- The Library hosts numerous events throughout the year, including our Literature on the Lawn picnics, Book Week and trivia. There are incentives to read books including book review competitions and library awards for consistent reading.
Drama
The Creative and Performing Arts Drama room is a dedicated performance space with a purpose-built amphitheatre and a control room. There is a dedicated space for props and a dressing room that is currently being renovated to match that of theatres such as the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre. The entire space is scheduled for a major renovation in 2026, which will feature innovative lighting, sound, and staging modelled off the performance space at Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts. Watch this space!
