COVID-19 Advice

       The Principal FAQ’s have been updated with information shared by Mark Scott in his all staff email on the 15 March. The link to the updated FAQ’s is available in the links section below. The key updates within the FAQ’s include:

·         Advice on the new measures in place for all people arriving in Australia from today 16 March - All travellers (including Australian citizens and residents) to self-isolate for a period of 14 days on arrival to Australia.

·         Advice on the changes to school activities and domestic excursions - all school excursions outside of the local school community, including overnight excursions and school camps are now cancelled until further notice. Whole school sporting events and inter-school events involving 3 or more schools are also cancelled.

·         Advice to staff to not arrange or attend large conferences and seminars

·          Advice for schools to look for alternate ways to communicate with their whole school group and community other than through whole school assemblies.

·         Clarification on requirements for staff who are in contact with a person identified as a close contact. These staff are not required to self-isolate. 

The Schools Safety website now includes advice for parents and carers to help their child continue to learn if they are not able to attend school
